Terms of use
These terms cover your use of the Murooah website and the apps we make. You are welcome to read the site and share links to it, we ask that you check with us before reusing our words, pictures or designs, and anything that matters to you, such as prayer times, is best checked against a trusted local source.

Using this website
You are welcome to read this website, link to it and share its pages with anyone. Please do not try to break into it, overload it or copy it as a whole, and please ask us before reusing its words, pictures or designs anywhere else.
Our apps
Miqa is published on Google Play, so Google Play’s own terms also apply when you install it from there. Mirtal is in closed testing for invited testers only, and Sijill is not yet available. Each app’s privacy policy is inside the app, and our privacy policy on this website gives the short version of each.
Content and credits
Unless a credit says otherwise, the words, drawings and designs on this website are our own.
The Quran text in Mirtal is the Tanzil Quran Text (Uthmani, Version 1.1) from the Tanzil Project, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence, which does not allow the text to be changed. Mirtal also uses the whisper.cpp engine under the MIT licence, a speech model from Tarteel under the Apache 2.0 licence, the Scheherazade New typeface under the SIL Open Font Licence, and LAME under the GNU Lesser General Public Licence. Miqa lists the libraries it uses inside the app, under Settings and then Licences.
This website uses the Newsreader, Hanken Grotesk and Markazi Text typefaces, all under the SIL Open Font Licence.
Limits
Prayer times are worked out by calculation, so please check them against your local timetable, above all for the start and end of a fast. Nothing on this website or in our apps is a religious ruling. We write and check everything here in good faith and as carefully as we can, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or without mistakes, and links to other websites, such as Google Play, lead to pages that follow their own terms.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and add a line to the list of changes, so that you can see what changed and when.
Contact
If you have a question about these terms, please write to us at [email protected], and we will reply as soon as we can.
